Senior Electrostatics & High-Voltage Specialist

As a Senior Electrostatics and High-Voltage Specialist, you guide electrostatics and high-voltage development across concepts to implementation, serving as a company-wide SME. You will build consensus across disciplines while preserving system performance and contribute to assets that standardize HV design. You will drive knowledge transfer through training and support product research and issue-resolution activities. You will work on HV designs for environments from ambient to deep vacuum, collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale engineering capabilities.

• Assess feasibility of new concepts and specifications during early development
• Contribute to design and review of high-voltage designs including PCBs and hardware modules for ambient to deep vacuum environments
• Support colleagues in research, design, and issue-resolution by applying expertise or connecting experts
• Perform root-cause analysis using models, circuit analysis, and measurements
• Develop ASML-specific HV design rules and technical requirements in cases where standards are insufficient
• Share knowledge through training to support colleagues' professional growth

• MSc in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline
• 10+ years in electrostatics and high-voltage development
• Experience designing for pressure environments from ambient to deep vacuum
• Experience designing and performing experiments to close knowledge gaps
• Proficiency in FEM-based field analysis
• Strong understanding of the underlying physics
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards is a plus
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills
• Pragmatic approach
• Ability to translate complex technical problems into actionable components
